We’re pleased to share the first RxWeb release of 2026, bringing a set of practical updates designed to support safer dispensing, more efficient workflows, and improved service delivery.
This release is:
-
Available now (4 February) for App1 users
-
Available from 11 February for App2 users
Once live for your system, all features are ready to use straight away.
Barcoded Picklist Labels
We’ve introduced barcoded picklist labels to support faster and more accurate picking and checking. By adding barcode verification earlier in the dispensing process, this update helps reduce errors and improve efficiency at busy times.
Original Pack Dispensing
New Original Pack Dispensing functionality makes it easier to dispense full packs where appropriate. This supports accuracy, reduces unnecessary handling, and helps streamline the dispensing workflow.
Care Home Filters on EPS Queues
EPS queues can now be filtered specifically for care home prescriptions. This makes it easier to organise workloads, prioritise tasks, and manage care home dispensing more effectively.
NMS: Depression Category Added
We’ve added a new Depression category to NMS, supporting clearer recording and reporting of NMS activity in this important area of patient care.
Coming later in February
Near Miss Log
Later this month, we’ll be introducing a Near Miss Log to support learning, reporting, and continuous improvement around patient safety. More information will be shared closer to release.
