Purpose-built and meticulously planned, the facility is designed to meet the increasing demands of a modern pharmacy while providing a welcoming and efficient environment for both staff and customers.

Spacious and thoughtfully laid out, the new pharmacy will enhance internal workflows, ensuring staff can work efficiently even during the busiest times. From dedicated areas for dispensing and robotics to consultation rooms and patient interaction zones, every detail has been considered to maximise functionality and comfort.

What truly sets this new location apart is how it leverages cutting-edge technology and innovative pharmacy solutions. RxWeb’s advanced features, including One-Click, Accuracy Checker, and Clinical Checker, will integrate seamlessly into the daily operations. These tools are designed to streamline processes, minimise errors, and ensure an unparalleled level of accuracy and efficiency in dispensing and clinical workflows.

Thursfields’ investment in state-of-the-art technology is setting a new benchmark in pharmacy operations. Their facility will feature two Omnicell robots: a MediMat along with a Speedbox, which enables high-speed, high-accuracy storage and prescription processing, and a Blister Packing Machine, which revolutionises how multi-dose packs are prepared.

These systems seamlessly integrate with RxWeb, creating an efficient end-to-end dispensing solution. This setup will also enable Thursfields to implement a Hub & Spoke model, streamlining operations across their other three locations. By adopting these advanced systems, Thursfields Pharmacy is significantly enhancing their prescription-handling capacity, reducing costs, and freeing up valuable staff time—all while improving patient care.

Introducing a Dedicated Services Clinic
