L release

The latest system update for RxWeb, L Release, has been fully developed and is ready to be rolled out to customers.

Below you will find a full summary of changes within the latest release. RxWeb users can also log into their Anytime account to view the release notes in full.

CHANGES TO SYSTEM NAMING CONVENTIONS

  • Preferred List renamed to Favourites (This change is because use of Preferred Item & Preferred List caused confusion)
  • Like for Like Ordering renamed to Pack Replacement
  • Add to Order Pad with Zero Quantity renamed to Zero Order
  • Do Not Order renamed to Manual Only

ORDERING SYSTEM CONTROLS

  • Ability to set Ordering Mode at Line level in Drug Management Screen

Order mode is no longer a system wide control. *Lines will still use System Config default if not set at line level

  • New Ordering Mode – Fixed Threshold

Fixed Threshold means a line can be set to maintain a stock level System will use Stock Figure + quantity of packs On Order and compare it with the quantity you are currently dispensing to establish what quantity will need to go on order to maintain user set Threshold.

(PRESCRIBED QTY + THRESHOLD) – (IN STOCK + ON ORDER)

EXAMPLE (PRESCRIBED QTY 10 packs + THRESHOLD 20 packs) – (25 Packs IN STOCK + 3 Packs ON ORDER) = Order 2 pack

ORDERING SCREEN – REWORKED

  • Orders Menu System changed from Folders to Supplier/State filters
  • Display of Packs On Active Orders (current and replied)
  • Stock Display at Line and Generic Level
  • Update Stock Screen updated (default action now “reset to”)
  • Display of Line Order Mode Control

DRUG MANAGEMENT SCREEN – REWORKED

  • Option to specify the ordering mode at line level – Fixed Threshold, Pack Replacement, Zero Order, Manual Only
  • Update Stock default action now “reset to”

CENTRALISED DRUG MANAGER

  • Ability to update Default Directions, Warnings, Printed Endorsement and Drug Note at item level, and apply to multiple branches
  • Ability to specify EPS2 IP Endorsement at item level, and apply to multiple branches

NEW BROADBAND SUPPLIER ORDERING INTERFACES

  • Pharmacy Buyer
  • Ethigen Optimise
  • PharmaCo
  • Cohens

OTHER CHANGES IMPLEMENTED

  • EPS2 State Validation changed to restrict invalid user actions
  • New System Config categories called PRINTER SELECTION & PRINT SETTINGS. This has broken apart PRINTING into two categories
  • Placed Orders screen now has a Date field
  • Various spellings have been corrected
  • Order page and system configuration rebranded to RxWeb
  • Duplication of entries in MUR GP Report resolved
  • Token pop-up now sorts on Surname (like queue system) instead of Forename
  • Tokens incorrectly printing as duplicate resolved
  • Patient Comms restricted if destination entry field less than 5 characters
  • Improved printing of price in Script Book (e.g. now £7.50, previously 7.5)
  • New EPS Queue – NHS Data Cleaning, to move any scripts expired from valid action based on spine rules from queue system.
  • Open SCR button in Nominations Tab to open Summary Care Record in new browser window
