As we approach the end of 2024, we want to take a moment to reflect on what we’ve achieved with our customers and share some exciting updates coming in January 2025.
2024: A Year of Progress and Innovation
Throughout 2024, we have focused on introducing new features and improvements to make RxWeb more efficient and effective for your pharmacy. We recently launched several enhancements, including:
- One-Click Dispensing, Clinical Checker, and Accuracy Checker updates to streamline workflows.
- Significant projects such as EPS in Wales and access to NCRS to broaden RxWeb’s capabilities.
Additionally, we have made substantial investments in upgrading RxWeb’s technology and infrastructure. Our comprehensive HTML rewrite and migration to a new best-in-class database have further strengthened RxWeb’s reliability, security, and performance, ensuring it continues to meet your needs.
What’s Coming in January 2025
We’ve listened to your feedback and avoided any major updates during the busy holiday period. Instead, we have two exciting releases planned for January, each bringing valuable functionality to your pharmacy.
Release 1: Early January
This release includes some highly anticipated features:
- Patient Script Visibility: Gain an overview of all current prescriptions in the RxWeb system that have not yet been claimed for the selected patient.
- Script Looping: Dispense all scripts for the same patient at the same time, saving you valuable time.
- Enhancements to CIS2, Accuracy Checker, One-Click Dispensing, and Clinical Checking, alongside various bug fixes.
Release 2: Late January
This release focuses on enhancing RxWeb’s robot integrations:
- Split Pack Functionality: Flexibility to dispense split packs through robot integrations.
- Support for 2D Barcodes: Robots will now accept 2D barcodes in the interface.
- Brand/Generic Specification: Ability to specify brands or generics using robot AMPP/VMPP.
Please note these robot enhancements apply to suppliers using the WWKS2 interface. We will onboard customers to the new interface in a phased approach and provide detailed release notes closer to the time.
