RxWeb are happy to introduce RxWeb FMD. The standalone web-based solution allows users to verify, supply, reintroduce and decommission medication packs, which will facilitate pharmacies in meeting the requirements in the Falsified Medications Directive (FMD).
As a standalone solution, RxWeb FMD is available to both RxWeb PMR customers as well as all pharmacies across the United Kingdom. We have spent the last year developing this product to ensure that pharmacists can easily make sure that they are FMD compliant.
- Verify: Check medication packs are real – this will not change medication status.
- Supply: Medication is marked as dispensed/supplied and automatically decommissions on day 11.
- Reintroduce: Reverse previously dispensed/supplied packs enabling you to put them back on the shelf – must be actioned during the 10-day window.
- Decommission: Decommission medicines that are destroyed, free samples or stolen.
Those wishing to sign-up with RxWeb can do so now and receive the lower set-up and monthly cost, as well as not paying for the system until February 2019.
